About The Southwestern Pennsylvania Financial Services Workforce Summit
The Financial Services Workforce Summit is designed to convene, educate, charge and mobilize the
region's key
stakeholders and opinion leaders to initiate action in order to prepare, recruit and retain a
service oriented workforce and one
that is qualified for the specific needs of the financial services industry.
The Summit will accomplish this vision in the following ways:

Define the opportunities and issues related to the strength and growth of the financial service industry cluster, specifically with regard to preparing, attracting, and retaining a qualified workforce. |

Define the opportunities and issues related to the advancement of the industry in southwestern Pennsylvania, specifically with regard to improving education and training and making what is learned more relevant to the needs of the region's industries. |
|
Develop and agree upon a regional agenda to support this growth and advancement. |
|
Initiate specific actions toward achieving objectives of the agenda. |
|
Report outcomes of the Summit including actions to be taken, responsible parties, and timeline. |
