Breakout Session Four-- Presenter's Bio Jordana FreemanDirector of Education-Metro Junior Achievement of SWPA In Ms. Freeman's role as Director of Education she is responsible for implementing and sometime teaching the Junior Achievement curriculum. All of the programs are designed to help students understand the free enterprise system and ensure their personal economic success. Ms. Freeman's careers started in the financials services industry over 20 years ago. Through the INROADS program she was fortunate to have an internship at Equibank. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a BA in Economics she went to work at Mellon Bank, The majority of her career has been spent making the connections between schools, business, and the non-profit community to improve the career development opportunities for youth.
Mary Loftus Ms. Loftus has worked at Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Western Pennsylvania for the past 12 years and has serves as the director of counseling for the past seven. Her career has focused on providing budget, credit, and debt management counseling and education services to consumer throughout Western and Central Pennsylvania. She has also taught personal finance courses at Seton hill College. Ms. Loftus is a graduate of Robert Morris College. She has earned counseling certifications in housing and consumer credit from the National Foundation for Credit Counseling and the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency. She is also a member of the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals. |
