Session Six Presenter's Bio

Leslie Bonner is President of the JobHouse, a local business which helps companies build, retain, manage and transition their workforce. JobHouse also owns and operates the JobMobile, Pennsylvania's only mobile recruiting and outplacement vehicle. Prior to founding the company in 1999, Leslie was Vice President of Human Resources at PNC Bank for 5 years, where she worked on projects involving new employee orientation, employee recognition, recruiting, and retention. During her tenure at PNC she also held the position of Manager of Employment and Staffing, where she had corporate-wide responsibility for reengineering the staffing and recruiting function. Before joining PNC, Leslie was the Director of the Career Center at Carnegie Mellon University's Graduate Business School. Leslie holds a M.Ed in Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh, a B.A. in Business and Psychology from Duquesne and holds a certificates a Senior Professional in HR Management. Leslie has also completed Executive Education classes at Carnegie Mellon University. Leslie is an adjunct faculty member at Duquesne University where she has taught Human Resources classes. She is currently Secretary of the Pittsburgh Human Resources Planning Society, and serves on the Advisory board of competitive Employment Opportunities. She has recently been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Pittsburgh YWCA.
