The Healthcare Workforce Summit was designed
to convene, educate, charge, and mobilize the region’s key stakeholders and opinion leaders in
order to address important healthcare workforce issues in the Mahoning Valley Region.  The region's leaders, who represent employers, educators, government, and the community, focused on the following objectives

  • Preparing, attracting, and retaining a qualified workforce
  • Improving education and training, and making what is learned
    more relevant to the needs of the region’s healthcare employers
  • Initiating specific actions toward achieving objectives
